Nope - Mahomes just goofed. It happens. The only play to make there was to tuck it and run with it. Definitely a mistake on his part and despite all the good he did, it was a mistake that cost us a likely victory. He tucks that ball and runs it, we're inside the two minute warning needing a TD to take the lead.
I think we'd have pulled it off. Definitely a growing pain there.

Sure, Kelce failed, but you're asking a TE to pass block like a RT and that's a recipe for failure just about every time.

Right, I was perplexed in real time. I have no idea what the **** was happening there. If that was Frank Zombo, maybe you try to cheat over, but Kelce ain't holding that dude down, and in point of fact, he did pretty darn well holding him as long as he did.
