Sweeney is very concerned with self-promotion. That's obvious ... but not necessarily a bad thing. He's a climber, though.
It started going bad when he began spamming every social media outlet while riding on Mahomes' coattails. The next step was reposting other writers' work. He wasn't the first to do that and won't be the last. His growing hubris then led to a bit of censorship and selective rule enforcement at the site.
On second thought, he may be Satan's little adopted brother.
