Baltimore, Chicago, Tennessee, Houston, and Jacksonville are the only teams that gave up less than 20 points per game this season.
Maybe Baltimore or Chicago has an up and coming assistant that is ready to be a DC.
But, if by the grace of the football gods Sutton is out, whoever takes over is going to need Veach to improve our secondary and linebackers.
I think NFL offenses have passed Sutton and his understanding of the type of defense needed to win. I know he didn't have a lot to work with, but he refused to adapt to the personnel on the roster. And he seems to be blind to situational defense, like playing CBs 7 yards off the WR on 3rd and 3, or failing to blitz and disrupt cement footed Rivers on the last two drives of that horrible 4th quarter collapse.
