Clete's crew will obviously, without shame, do whatever the NFL tells them to. The beginning quarter was one of the most bizarre things I've seen in 40+ years of watching football.
The Rams game was scripted from the pregame to be about the fires in LA...I predicted KC would get the "Hurricane Katrina" treatment and they didn't disappoint.
There was no way they were going to let the Rams lose and depress the people living there further...after the spectacle they made about it. Sucks they turned it into a political/social "feel good" story at the Chiefs expense.
There is zero reasons why the NFL would want a 3rd SB in a row with NE....none. It would a game nobody outside of Boston wants to see. Patriots are going to get the Jaguars AFCCG type of situation...except with the tables turned.
Does anyone believe the NFL will turn down the opportunity to have the highest rated SB in over a decade...
