I used to think Manning-era Colts fans were the dumbest. Then the Falcons Boosters, after their one regular season 'dynasty', surpassed the Indy crowd. Now, these guys, having won their second ever appearance in the Conference Championship, spouting off as if they've actually won anything yet.... I just don't get it. When the Patriots were playing their way thru the 2001 playoffs, right up to the SB, the conversations I had with other Pats' fans could only be described as 'guarded optimism'....NO overblown predictions, guarantees or blather about how invincible they were! What has happened to reason and humility?
