So we can draft talent, or pickup previously not-bad talent (especially on D), and with their overall mentality turn them into the 31st worst D in the league. But we're going to need a Willie Roaf-era OL to keep PH off a stretcher. And hell, even the Roaf-era OL didn't keep the pretty-much pure pocket QB off the medical stretcher.
I'm just saying that PH's life span might not be that of Tom-Terrific based on how many times he has to bail out of the pocket. Granted, he's a master, second to none, when he's out there, but the law of averages aren't in his favor in terms of a 20 year career because of how much he bails (willingly or otherwise).

Can't really argue that. There's only so much even a Prodigy can do. The Chiefs need desperately to change the way they do business. You can keep that "family" attitude to a point with your best players, but we need more "Meritocracy" and less coddling.
