In fact he was fired from the Cleveland Browns for his losing record. Bledsoe didn't win a SB under BB either. I more arguable claim would be that Brady made BB. Just because he played one lousy SB game doesn't change that.
How 'bout making a case based on some facts.

Brady was not great in their first two Super Bowl wins. He also got bailed out on his fumble against the Raiders by the Tuck Rule. If they lost that game, who knows how it might have played out. They took advantage of the fortunate break and then Belichick’s defense was phenomenal against Kurt Warner’s Rams offense.
I would give Belichick most of the credit for the first two Super Bowls plus the latest one. Defense was the primary reason they won those 3 rings. But I would give Brady most of the credit for their other 3 rings. He was phenomenal against the Falcons in particular. Belichick’s defense gets the blame for their 3 losses.
