As for 2019 and beyond, I just don't give that much of a ****. Kareem Hunt realistically plays at most another season and a half of football for us if we don't cut him. I guess everybody missed where the SECOND Hunt signed, he went back to the commissioner's exempt list.
It's pretty freaking simple:
HE WASN'T PLAYING AGAIN IN 2018. PERIOD.
He wouldn't have been able to play against the Patriots. He's on the EXEMPT LIST.
And he'll be on the exempt list, which means he can't even report to team facilities, until the NFL finishes their investigation. At that point, it appears he's going to get 4 games for each incident now, so he won't even be able to REPORT until the first of DECEMBER.
This place gets dumber by the minute.
As a human being, I sincerely hope Kareem Hunt is getting the help he needs. Having worked with so many youngsters struggling with the stuff he does, going to Cleveland sure seems like a really bad idea.
