That's awesome, he can block downfield, now let me know how he does blocking near the line of scrimmage when it really matters. I mean it's great he blocks down the field(that's important too), but a lot of terrible blocking tight ends can block down the field.
I'm not going to look up plays where Kelce is running away from the running play because I don't have time to look it up. Something like this is not necessarily going to be in any highlight reel. So I would have to watch the entire game and pick up all the plays and write down the timestamps, etc. But he does run away from the running plays, I've seen it. He takes the receiver with him, so technically he did his job of getting the receiver out of the play. But he's not a willing blocker.
And you're right, Mahomes getting taken out was a little far fetched. I take that back. Just want people to appreciate blocking.
