Last year is a better example. The saints wanted a player to put them over the top and gave up a future first to move up to 14 to select Marcus Davenport. Played 13 games with 4.5 sacks. I’m not saying he’s a bust, but if you’re giving up that capital you better be damn sure he’s going to make an impact in year 1
