Well, they are if there are a STUPID number of them, and they're willing to just pile on top of themselves to build an undead ramp...
But honestly, the "strategy" was ridiculously bad. I get that the ability to control the weather ****ed up alot of the plan, but the plan itself was shit.
Let's just say this -- none of MacArthur, Robert E. Lee, Pershing or ****ing Rob Stark would have approved of that "plan". Apparently the only people left at Winterfell had no strategic sense at all.
