I mean how is it supposed to make sense that this team would trade a 25-yeard-old top 10 CB with some attitude problems sure for a future 2nd round pick and a 4th and then give up a 1st round pick for a 29-year-old top 10 CB? That's just not good business.

The 49ers were one of the media darlings last year and they went 4-12. I don’t buy them as anything more than a bottom third team until they prove that.
The Peters Trade is a sunk cost. It’s in the past and shouldn’t affect any future decisions. There were clearly off the field issues that affected that. Should we have traded him? None of us know for sure. That debate will go on forever.
I’m just saying that I don’t believe our first and second will be all that different. People get way too hung up on the round and don’t pay close enough attention to the actual draft slot.
