How D&D got the “main” characters here doesn’t matter. GRRM has said many times including on 60 minutes just a few weeks ago, the ending for the “main” characters ending will be the same in the books and TV. What he considers a “main” character could be open for debate but a “main” group has to include Danerys, Jon, Cersi, Jamie and Tyrion, correct?

So anyway I’m cool with how ever they end because that’s what GRRM’s vision was for them.
