I find it quite baffling how big of a difference the average performance is depending on league. It is true that guys usually seem to hit way better in Omaha than almost anywhere, and they do so so bad in Wilmington.
I would understand it if it was just a power issue. If the field is bigger, whatever. But if the field is bigger, you would expect less power and more avg. But nobody in Wilmington ever does shit, either for avg or for OPS.
What is the biggest factors causing this? I assume it's a combination of alot of things but it's quite fascinating.
