I'm hoping Spags D lives up to at least 2/3rds of its potential, Mahomes ends up throwing 35-38 TDs, but because of the improved D the offense doesn't have to score on every possession, and we finally get into the SB in my lifetime. Maybe after that I'll look at whether the Chiefs O was one of the all time greats.

Improved D doesn’t mean you stop scoring (until late). It means you start winning games 42-17 instead of 42-39. An aggressive D is only going to lead to more possessions and more points. The fact that the Chiefs put up the offensive numbers they did with Sutton’s bend and break, get-dominated-in-TOP defense just made it more impressive.
I won’t be at all surprised if they have more yards and points this year.
