If Nike had held firm on releasing the shoe and the failed QB had pressed his case through other media/communication outlets, and the media coverage and presidential candidate approval of the notion of the white supremacy of Betsy Ross had played out similarly, people would still be 'mad' at the ill-informed fomenting of discord.
