Yes, as the owner / Lessor of a property, you have the right to allow or disallow whoever you want. Does not matter if they were invited or not- once that invitation is rescinded they need to leave. If not, they are trespassing. You have the right to use necessary force to protect yourself, your family and property. Basic Law 101. Google it.
Same with a business. You go into a bar, start raising hell- you are asked to leave and you don't, you are trespassing. That is why they have guys called Bouncers- to bounce your ass out. If they had to call the cops every time a drunk would not leave, the cops would always be there.
Obviously, according to Both parties, the incident turned bad. He broke up with her and she would not leave. She caused it. Why did she not just take off?? Money? Control? Who knows, but she should have just left. When you are asked to leave somewhere it should Not take a phone call to the cops to get you to comply.
Maybe he should have just waited for the police? Or maybe she was going crazy and he was tired of her screaming at him for breaking up with her? We don't know. As the rightful owner of that residence, Reek had every right to put her out. According to the audio, which she did not deny, he picked her up and put her out. He did not hit her, choke her or punch her in the face as she later claimed in a tearful testimony on the stand.
Even if he waited for the police and took her attitude- she Still could have claimed he hit her and he would have been arrested.
Fact is she lied to the police and in court, and with trying to blackmail him this time around, she has zero credibility at all.
