A plea or a conviction would be reassuring, but I would urge all to avoid the paradigm of justice determined solely by outcome.
Justice is facing potential consequence subject to a full and fair hearing before a jury of peers. If, along the line we as observers see evidence that this ideal isn't being met, we can and should make out criticisms known, but to have an outcome-based metric beforehand is actually counter to our notions of justice in fundamental ways.
