I still say he takes too much shit for his athleticism because he's a white guy.
And people think he's more of a hard-hitter than he is for the same reason.
Sorensen is game, so I have no problem with people calling him 'tough' or 'rugged' - the guy is absolutely willing to put his nose into the pile. But honestly, run support and baseline tackling are probably the worst part of his game.
He's actually a pretty damn decent playmaker. He's not a single-high guy, but few truly are. He's pretty athletic, especially for a safety.
I think he's overpaid but if the Chiefs cut him, he'd be on an NFL roster and there would be several teams bidding for his services. He's a nice player who I wish were making about $2 million less than he is. A $4.7 million cap hit for a rotational safety is pretty ridiculous. But if we had him at $2.5 million on the cap this year I think you'd keep him without question.
