There are some legitimate concerns with Hyde. His 2017 season with the 9ers included the worst pass protection grade of any running back and the worst drop rate among running backs.
On the other hand, Reid and Bienemy have proven time and time again that they know how to coach up and get production out of their runningbacks.
The latter is why I'm not going to worry about what happens with Hyde. I trust our coaching staff to either figure out how to use him effectively or get rid of him. I'm not spending any energy sweating Hyde; the situation will get figured out one way or the other.
