We're still going to gradually work in Darwin Thompson, who possesses way more big play upside than Hyde, but that's not we're using Hyde for. He's here to be the backup on 1st and 2nd downs and take a few snaps to keep everybody fresh.

That's it. His presence doesn't mean we're cutting Darrell Williams, and even if it did, I don't know why people are so obsessed with him-- personally, I think he kinda sucks.

"But it's just a 6th rounder..." you mean a 6th rounder like Darwin Thompson, or a developmental OL prospect like LDT? Sure, spend those picks if it makes you a better team, but don't just burn them on NOTHING.
