You're fooling yourself if you don't see that as a major problem, and probably the biggest factor in losing at home to the Colts. Everyone knew they were going to run the ball...but our defense couldn't do a ****ing thing about it. They got dragged up and down that field...all night long.

None of that TOP advantage matters at all if the offense isn’t completely terrible. The defense gave the offense three chances to tie or take the lead. That is more than good enough. How it happened isn’t really relevant. And coincidently if the offense moves the ball the TOP shifts in there favor.
All you have to ask yourself is do we lose tonight with Fisher and Hill and/or Watkins? That answer will tell you whether or not the run defense truly mattered in this game.
