I identify as an American Bull Gator and it angers me to my core every time I see fans at Florida doing that horribly offensive “gator chomp”.
I will be writing a strongly worded editorial in the Gainesville Sun demanding that the University stop appropriating Alligators this way.
If even one member of the Crocodilia family is offended, then UF needs to do the right thing and end this disgusting cheer.
