So much wrong and lack of vision in this post. You raze the useless downtown airport, divert the river in an aesthetically pleasing manner if need be, and profit from a modern facility surrounded by a scenic skyline on the hill to the south.
I've surveyed that entire zone and there is PLENTY of useable land for the structure and parking. Plus, you're downtown without having to go IN to downtown.
And finally, you get away from the One Arrowhead Drive curse. And make NO mistake; that current land and building are eleventy billion percent cursed, and the complete history of the franchise proves it. AND, as great as he is, Mahomes WILL NOT break it. You'll see.
So let's stop ****ing around and build a proper castle for the king.
