In fact, if you read the thing with any degree of discernment it'd be clear that I was talking specifically about the atmosphere or certain stadiums, and I included Arrowhead along with the others. And Arrowhead has always been one of the tougher places for visiting teams to play, mostly because of the noise, but also because it's an outdoor venue, inviting whatever the weather brings to the game. And that's what I meant about its personality.

Let me try to help you out here.

No one wants to go to cold, snowy outdoor stadiums in the winter, for obvious reasons. There are no indoor stadiums that anyone is afraid of going into, with the lone except of the Saints Superdome. And the Superdome's only fear factor is the noise.

All the other stadiums in the NFL that teams don't want to play in are outdoor venues, like Arrowhead. And Lambeau. And Soldier Field. Etc.

And no one cares bout what our record is in the playoffs, except overly pessimistic fans. Coaches and players only look at the challenges of playing in someone else's stadium.

And every player/coach knows that Arrowhead is very loud, and very cold and very windy in December/January. With a high possibility of snow, etc.

And now our QB has proven without a doubt that he lovers playing the snow.

And who gives a rat's ass what our record was BPMII in the playoffs? Because I assure you that no one in the NFL cares at all. What they're looking at is Arrowhead has always been a tough place to play, worse late in the year, and now we have a QB that plays just as well in the snow as he does in 80 degree weather.

Think that's a HFA? More importantly, think the rest of the NFL sees that as an advantage?

Like anyone ever said, "Arrowhead is a tough place to play September thru November, but it's a walk in the park when it gets really cold, windy and snowy in December and January . . ."
I mean the biggest advantage we have is our fans and how loud they are. They're not quite as loud when 25% of them are missing and the rest are wearing gloves which muffle their clapping and seat banging and can't yell as loud because of the cold/wind.

Imagine how much louder Arrowhead would be if the sound couldn't escape in the open air.
