Sorry, but that's not shitty weather... if your feet were frozen in what was literally above freezing temps, you weren't dressed properly. And there are plenty of other reasons for people not to show up to that game, like the holidays and it being a seemingly unimportant game (given no one thought the Patriots would lose).
When the games really matter, people show up and people are loud regardless of the weather... see last year's playoffs.
Weather being an equalizer to a high scoring offense is really the only argument that carries any weight... yet, they scored 31 in each of their playoff game last year, and it certainly didn't slow down the Patriots.  |
