The passion at which he said that and the look of determination in his eyes told me he is going to win A LOT of games as the Chiefs QB for the next 10-12 years.

Give him a defense worth a crap and he will win a ton of games. He had absolute rubbish defenses in both high school and college. I don't care who you are, it's hard as hell to win in that situation.
Deshaun Watson was amazing in college, but also had a ton of help from an
elite defense at Clemson. In that Chiefs/Texans playoff game this year, Deshaun got a little taste of what it was like to be Mahomes in college. Texans defense was pure trash and Deshaun got run out of the stadium despite a 24 point lead early.
