There's been so many great stories that have come out right before and after the game. There was a story about how Fenton had worked at Miami's stadium as a food service worker, and now he's got a Super Bowl Ring earned on the same field. I love this story too about Austin Reiter. From the Outhouse to the Penthouse!

Another thing I was thinking about was Alex Smith's impact on this win. Not only did Alex do a great job mentoring PMII his rookie year, but when the trade with Washington went down, we got Kendall Fuller and a 3rd round pick, who ended up being Derrick Nnadi. Nnadi bloomed this year as a great run stopper, and his improvement the second half of this year made a huge difference. Fuller's battled injuries since he came here, but got the game over pick at the end to seal the deal. So all in all, the value we got for trading Alex was tremendous. Also goes to show you how every little move a GM makes really matters in building the whole machine.
