My friend was going to watch the game out here with me but had to fly back to St. James, MO for a funeral at the last minute. Apparently her entire family still doesn't watch the NFL because of the kneeling. I had no idea that was still going on.
Her uncle was even having a gathering on Sunday but said he didn't want the game on. She had to watch it almost by herself at her Mom's. Her uncle tried to get her to come over at the last minute - saying he would allow the game. She was like nahhhh.
