We will need some sort of universal income to keep a floor under American citizens. Or there will really be trouble in the streets. Same argument that most are getting an advance on their 2020 tax refund soon. Politicians saying the virus isn't their fault. Not their fault they don't have a job, Automation will effect some industries more than others but all will take a hit on jobs. It wont be the workers fault.
