If we had any type of diarrhea accident, we clear the pool and then have to maintain an elevated level of chlorine (maybe 20ppm?) for a specified amount of time. I'd have to look up the exact procedure...not one I recall off the top of my head because thankfully I've never dealt with it...and hopefully never do.
