It's not Madden to put yourself into that position instead of another team and use Chris Jones as the leverage to do it. You can easily bullshit one of those teams and say you want Chase Young, or you want Derrick Brown to replace Jones and then go another route. You trade up and say to Miami, make me an offer I got others on the line wanting this pick and see what you can get. Worst case scenario you get a first and third this year and a first next year, which is generous considering what the Bears gave up "The Bears traded the Nos. 3, 67 and 111 picks, as well as a 2018 third-round pick, to the San Francisco 49ers in exchange for the second overall pick."

Sure.....except:
1. You have to complete a Chris Jones trade today. And that includes compensation AND Jones signing a new deal with his new team.
2. You have to start the conversations now with other teams otherwise they just call your bluff and you’re forced to take a player with no trade down.
All of that shit isn’t happening in the 10 minutes you’re on the clock.
