Yeah, I've been in Hollywood for more than 27 years and I've lived within a 2 mile radius during that time. My first apartment was off Yucca & Wilcox, which is about a half a mile from the Hollywood Police Station, which is just south of Sunset off of Wilcox. It's nearly a straight 1.8 mile shot from my home.

What makes Bosch special, at least for me, is that they've made the city of Hollywood a character throughout each season. Instead of soundstages, they're actually filming On Location, which as a resident who'se been to nearly all of the locations, super cool to see each episode.

As mentioned previously, it was truly a trip to see them film my street and Weidlake Drive, which leads to the South entrance of Lake Hollywood. I'm pretty sure it was Episode 3 in which Harry & Jerry find the remains of the "camp" set up by the homeless man found with radiation burns. My parents got a big kick out of seeing my street and the lake during that particular episode and texted me as soon as they saw it.

The bar where they had Barrel's "retirement" party, Boardner's, used to be my favorite hangout. It's been there since 1942 and hasn't changed a bit. As a matter of fact, the owner asked me to put together a band to play the patio on Sundays back in 1993, just about 6 weeks after I arrived, but I was too busy at the time. Musso & Frank's is an Old School restaurant that's almost directly across the street from Boardner's and is featured prominently in the Netflix series, The Kominsky Method as well. Seeing all of the real Hollywood hangouts is just so cool when compared to fake sets because it provides a level of authenticity that's missing in so many other LA based TV shows.

Anyway, I hope that it's picked up by Hulu or Netflix or another streamer because it's still a great show and it will be hard to see it end after Season 7.

In case anyone's interested, I've linked below to several websites that detail the specific locations in which the show has filmed. I'm really going to miss it if it truly ends after Season 7.
