Yeah he’s getting plenty from me, like many great DC’s he’s no HC... but man can that guy masterfully juggle a million variables on defense
First year DC with new scheme
Players already here had to be coached into it
All the many new faces had to be coached into it
Late arrivals were brought up to speed quickly and effectively
Was dealt a shitty hand of multiple serious injuries to very important players at various points in the season
All of that, yet he still had them playing like a cohesive unit by week 8... and like a championship defense just in time for the playoffs
