I wouldn't suck Flacco's dick so fast. Better for sure, but "natural talent Matt couldn't dream of" is a little much.
Flacco: 62% completion rate, 234YPG, 1.3TD/0.83INT, 84.3 QBR.
Cassel: 57.% completion rate, 164YPG, .98TD/0.76INT, 68.6 QBR.
Flacco is to Cassel as Dak is to Dalton. Better, but "worth that kind of money and praise" better? Flacco played really well that SB year but it's not like he didn't have some help there (Ray Rice and Anquan Boldin on offense, and one of the all-time defenses led by Rey Lewis, Ed Reed, and Terrell Suggs). Trent Dilfer also won a SB with Baltimore, and I wouldn't put him too high either. (And, for the record, Trent Dilfer's average stats are actually worse than Cassel's.)
