If only there wasn't a plethora of data that shows that clear, direct messaging with an acknowledgement of the reality of disease and side effects leads to increased adherence and lower readmission rates for patients with all manner of maladies.
That's, literally, the entire point behind patient education.
Countries that engage in that model have better succeeded at containing this virus. Those that deny its virulence or that they have a problem at all have failed miserably. That's not a political argument any more than saying that Lasix reduces your potassium is a political argument, but if you engage it on terms that is political, you don't have to confront the data.
