Cam’s body has already started to break down. He’s not capable of using his legs that much for an entire season and he also has shoulder issues that affect his throwing ability that he’s yet to come back from. To suggest any of that is going to change all of a sudden is baseless speculation and overly optimistic.
Personally i think he is worth the gamble for a league minimum deal. He looked real good the first 8 weeks of 2018. Hurt his shoulder. Which you are right we never saw if the shoulder was healthy in 2019. But keep in mind that he played through the shoulder injury for 8 games in 2018. Have to believe that it was a injury that hurt his play but not major structural problems.

Then he hurt his foot. Which I have to believe that is not going to be long term and is healed. So he is 32 and probably lost a step but where last years the team could not throw at all, why not put in a QB that gives some threat of a threat to run. Keep the back side of the defense honest.
