The tricky thing is that the level likely varies by area (depending on what other coronaviruses have been through the community), so using a blanket, national figure won't tell us much. And it still would mean that a lot more people will have to die before things stabilize since there are areas that have been hit harder than others.
It is interesting to note that there aren't a lot of examples of small areas that have been hit twice. That's what gives me hope.
