Generally the only people I see are rich people out for walks, but this weekend I'm cruising down the street and I hear yelling. Loud yelling. Like domestic disturbance yelling or something. I was trying to figure out where it was coming from, and then I see some low-rent dirty vagrant come around the corner. He was yelling with malice, lots of f-bombs and other stuff that I couldn't understand, and he wouldn't stop.
Like I said, the streets are really wide and I was on the other side, so I kept going towards him, but keeping an eye on him. He was acting like he was going to kill somebody, but he was facing down a side street so I figured I'd slip by him. But then he turned around and saw me, and I thought he was going to charge me. Screaming and yelling and threats and f-bombs and I just kept running straight ahead, pretending that he didn't exist.
Fortunately, he decided not to attack me and he just started walking, continuing to yell. I curled around and went down the side street that he'd been yelling at, and there was a woman there watering the lawn of her mansion. I said, "Are you okay?", and she calmly said, "Well, that guy was clearly on drugs or something." And she kept on watering.
I was kind of flummoxed. That crazy dude was terrifying, and this woman never left her yard while he was yelling at her.
