Okay, here's my 2020 roster. I've got a lot of depth issues due to covid opt outs and other oddities, but here goes.
QB
Russell Wilson (Seahawks)
Easton Stick
Jordan Ta'amu
Great starter, and completely unproven depth.
RB
Alvin Kamara (Saints)
Justin Jackson (Chargers)
Rashaad Penny (Seahawks)
Damien Williams
We're good here, though Damien is out for the year and Penny is on the PUP until Week 7. We'll be running very light until he comes back.
WR
Sammy Watkins
James Washington (Steelers)
Kelvin Harmon (Redskins)
Andy Isabella (Cardinals)
Donovan Peoples-Jones, WR (Browns)
We've got good speed at the starting positions and Harmon in the slot. Andy Isabella was a second-round pick who got buried in the depth chart and appears to be headed toward bust status. But we'll give him another season.
Peoples is a rookie, so hopefully one of them takes a step forward this year. It's not a dominating group here.
TE
Travis Kelce (Chiefs)
Ricky Seals-Jones
We're very light at TE since I had no one on the roster other than these two. They're good, though.
OT
Mitchell Schwartz
Morgan Moses (Redskins)
Tyrell Crosby (Lions)
Same tackle group I've been running with for years. They're good.
OG
Keliechi Osemele
Wyatt Teller (Browns)
Andrew Wylie
Michael Jordan
Lucas Niang, G/T (Chiefs)
I've got four NFL starting guards, so my depth is good. I think this group is adequate but not strong. Niang is obviously taking a gap year.
C
Cody Whitehair (Bears )
Austin Reiter, OL
Whitehair moves back to his original position, so I've got good talent and depth with two NFL starters.
K
Harrison Butker
Best kicker in the league.
P
Tommy Townsend
It's not Colquitt so I don't know what to say.
LS
James Winchester
Best long snapper in the league.
FS
Tyrann Matthieu
Having to move Matthieu back to FS since I had no one on the roster. He can handle it.
SS
Jordan Poyer (Bills)
Tedric Thompson
Poyer is a good strong safety. Thompson is our only depth on the roster, so let's hope we stay healthy here.
CB
Marcus Peters (Ravens)
Desmond King (Chargers)
Amik Robertson, CB (Raiders)
Antoniio Hamilton
Bashaud Breeland
Yeah, he's a jerk, but he's my #1 CB. King is a good player, and until Breeland comes back we're going to be relying on a rookie and Hamilton. Not terrible, but depth is worrisome.
OLB
Jaylon Ferguson
Damien Wilson
AJ Klein (Bills)
Zach Baun, LB (Saints)
Ben Niemann
We're reworking OLB with Ferguson taking the starting spot. Baun is a rookie on the learning curve, and the other three are all serviceable. At long last I've got a reasonable OLB crew, though they're not dominant.
ILB
Anthony Hitchens
No depth here, but Niemann could move over in a pinch. Adequate starter, though not dominating.
DE
Ifeadi Odenigbo (Vikings)
Yetur Gross-Matos, DE (Panthers)
Alex Okafor
Taco Charlton
Anthony Nelson
Dorance Armstrong
Lots of depth, but they're all NFL backups. Every one of them. I'm hoping Gross-Matos moves up since he's a rookie. We're notably subpar here despite continual investment in the position.
Brandon Williams (Ravens)
Maurice Hurst
Tershawn Wharton
Mike Pennel
Andrew Billings (Bengals)
Star Lotulelei (Bills)
Billings and Lotulelei both opted out of the season, and Pennel is suspended. We've actually still got a decent core with Brandon Williams and Maurice Hurst starting until Pennel gets back. We've got the super Miner rookie on the squad as well.
Free agent losses:
Lesean McCoy
Reggie Ragland (Chiefs)
Kendall Fuller
Cuts:
Nathan Peterman (Raiders)
Matt Moore
Elijah McGuire
Deandre Washington
Donte Moncrief (Jaguars)
Isaac Nauta
Caleb Wilson
Mike Remmers
Martinas Rankin
Yasir Durant
Daniel Kilgore
Reshad Jones (Dolphins)
Darron Lee
Sutton Smith
Zach Brown (Titans)
Demone Harris
Joey Ivie, NT
My cuts weren't really hard this year. Remmers and Durant prompted some thought, but that's about it.
I tip my hat to Reshad Jones and Zach Brown and wish them the best in retirement. Those guys were mid-round picks who were on my team forever. Donte Moncrief was good value for mid-round pick as well.
