I got back from my CA-NV-UT-WY-CO-AZ road trip last night after a 12-hour apocalyptic 108 degree super-smoky hell-drive stuck in Vegas->LA holiday weekend traffic.
Mask usage was pretty high except for Utah (Moab being the 100% masks exception) and a few small towns in WY. You'd think Provo would be out in front of the mask thing since they have BYU. But no.
Mask wearing is either 100% where required, or less than 10% where not required. Humans are funny social creatures. TBF the odds of it mattering much in small town Wyoming are low. Provo OTOH - that just seems dumb.
Navajo Nation is still completely shut down - including Four Corners. You could get gas with a credit card but that's it. No stores open. They got hit hard back in May.
Everywhere else seemed about as crowded as ever - just no in-person dining or bars.
