I can see the Jets doing that, but not before the trade deadline. That'd be an offseason move.
1. No team is going to give them anything of value at this point in the season as most teams are set at QB.
2. There's nothing guaranteeing Trevor Lawrence to the Jets, as they could easily find themselves accidentally winning enough games to lose the #1.
