To fully appreciate Billy Price you have to look at his past at Ohio State. He was originally recruited as a DT but switched over and started at left guard his first three games and then switched to right guard his next 12 games. Ohio State won the National Championship that year. The next season Billy started every game at left guard. His junior year he was selected as a team captain and started every game as a right guard. His Senior year he played center and won the Rimington Award as the nation's best center. Price started 55 straight games at Ohio State. Billy tore his pectoral muscle doing the bench press at the NFL Combine which required surgery. Billy Price was a 1st (21) round draft pick in 2018. In his first season with the Bengals he had 10 starts while battling a foot injury. Zac Taylor and a new coaching staff came in 2019. Trey Hopkins won the starting center job. Billy played in 16 games in 2019, but only started at guard 8 times. Because Zac Taylor and staff like their guards bigger, Billy tried to gain weight prior to the 2020 season and got up to 326 pounds. He is now considered their super sub and can play anywhere along the interior, but has only played 113 snaps on offense.

1. Kansas City Chiefs need offensive line help
2. Billy Price, a former 1st round pick, has fallen out of favor in Cincinnati and is not being used.
3. Price's contract is affordable for the Chiefs.
4. Billy can play anywhere on interior.
BUT...none of this matters because the Bengals offensive line is hurt right now and Bengals cannot afford to surrender Billy Price. Because of COVID-19 protocals, any new linemen would not be able to play this week.
