The facts are that Dee and Houston were only good for getting sacks against bottom-to-low-middle tier teams. Go back and check: they were never successful against good teams and/or in the playoffs. It's possible that Clark has more sacks, QB hits, pressures than those two combined in playoff games.

And again, what good was it to have a defense that collected lots of sacks? Reminder: in 2018, the Chiefs led the league in sacks with 54.

But in the 2018 AFCCG those two combined for zero sacks and our defense couldn't stop Brady from marching down the field, converting numerous 3rd-and-longs in OT to win the game.

Since that terrible and infamous day, the Chiefs defense has been a much, much better unit, finishing last season with a secondary ranked in the top 10, with 16 INTs and another 8 fumbles recovered by the defense. And winning SB LIV, all without a sack specialist.

It's almost as if Spagnuolo knows what he's doing. Like maybe he's won a SB before or something.
The Texans and titans last year allowed 49 and 56 sacks respectively. The Patriots in 2018 allowed 21. If you out Houston and Ford there last year they dominate too. Let's not act like Houston didn't have 2 sacks and Ford had 1 sack and a forced fumble the week before in the wild card game.

Ive said before, if Ford doesn't make that idiotic ass mistake, the story of the post season is how great the defense played and how sutton turned it around. They would have ended that Patriots game with 24 points and 3 interceptions. But Ford for some ****ing reason decided to have literally zero awareness and ****ed everything up for the rest of the team.
