Meh. Mahomes is MJ in this situation. You could make an argument that Patrick should get every offensive award every season for the next decade. These guys are going to look for ways to give it to someone else. This year it's Rodgers. And he deserves it. He had a hell of a year. Next year Mahomes will be right there at the top of the list again, and they'll still try to find a way to give it to someone else. Won't matter, because Mahomes will get plenty of these things.
In the mean time, congrats to Aaron Rodgers on a great season.
