The real problem was the patchwork O-Line (we need more depth, at least better depth) and Andy’s coaching. Some really terrible decisions by him. Maybe the Brit thing really was throwing him off his game? I don’t know. But something wasn’t right out there.
Yes, the officiating was one-sided and went down in TB’s favor, but that is not what ultimately cost them the game.
It certainly didn’t help, though.

No-one is saying we should "gut" the defense...but the fact is we need more quality on that side of the ball. For two years we've been poor against the run and tight ends and when that's the case play action becomes problematic. Too many times this defense undone their good work by letting up soft td's down the stretch to make games closer and that was never a good habit to have.
