I had turf toe and didn't need surgery...guess I'm tougher than Pat.
Actually, mine hurt like ****ing hell for at least a week or more and I could barely walk for a couple weeks. After a month, I was still pretty sore.
Most NFL players get it and they're out for 2-4 weeks but don't need surgery. He played though it but did need surgery. Must have been something kind of unusual.
