IIRC, that was after Wilson and Wentz signed new deals that reset the market. I really can't see where Jerry and Stephen Jones ****ed up too badly here now that I see Wilson was asking 40 million all the way back in the 2019 off season.
I guess you could say even signing Dak to a big money deal in the first place but there's really not very many realistic options and all that talent on offense needs to be utilized while it's still relatively young.
