It's pretty clear the Chiefs plan is to just throw as many bodies as possible out there to compete for starting jobs, and then just start the best 5 guys while having solid depth in case of injuries.
The main thing that killed us in the Super Bowl was just the lack of depth. You don't need to have 5 All-Pros out there to start the season. You just need to have 8-9 solid guys who can step in if necessary and not get Mahomes killed.
It's not a bad approach.
