-waist - BLAMMO! The noise of the blast makes the entire crew’s hearts skip a beat, even before they know the damage. A shell has hit trndobrd’s ammo supply. Like a flak burst, the box explodes. Trndobrd is killed immediately as he takes the brunt of the explosion. Royc75 takes at least three errant bullets square to the chest and, combined with his earlier wound, bleeds out and dies. The waist of the plane is peppered with holes, including one large hole on the right side where the ammo supply used to be.

Good weather
The excitement isn’t quite over since the landing gear won’t deploy, but htismaqe doesn’t panic. Sdchiefsfan radios in the problem, so the runway is cleared by the time Flyin’ Doublewide arrives. Htismaqe lines up, comes down gently, and the plane grinds to a stop amid spark and even a little bit of fire. The fire crews take care of the situation, though, and the damage is minor.
